Senior Electrical Foreman I

Department: West Texas Region
Location: Forsan, TX

Responsibilities:

This is the third level of Electrical Foreman expertise.

  • Designs, installs, and maintains all electrical equipment and installations in the Region to ensure that all operations are safe, profitable, and efficient.
  • Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
  • Makes repairs as required and oversees third-party services when necessary to utilize.
  • Diagnose problems with all of Citation’s electrical equipment within the Region.
  • Recommends improvements to supervisor.
  • Familiarity with prices of goods and services from all available vendors in the region to ensure Citation receives the best value.
  • Maintain working relationships with representatives of electrical power companies.
  • Evaluate company operations in an effort to increase production by eliminating electrical downtime and lower operating costs.
  • Monitors monthly electrical bills and reports any discrepancies to Region Superintendent.
  • Sign and date field tickets related to all electrical work.

Qualifications:

  • High School education or G.E.D.
  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Foreman.
  • Employment is contingent upon wearing all types of breathing air equipment and passing a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
  • Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
  • Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Job duties involve working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
  • Involves climbing up stairways 20 ft. in height while wearing a breathing apparatus.
  • Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools, and wearing breathing air equipment.
  • Lifting, pushing & pulling are required during the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Must be able to travel long distances between locations and offices and must maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be available at unpredictable hours to respond to storms and other large outages.
